For indoor plants, flowering plants, Bonsai, air plants, patio tropicals, and citrus, we don’t provide warranties once they’ve left our care. However, you can return indoor plants within 14 days for store credit. When returning plants in temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius, be sure to wrap them appropriately for the journey back to us. Our return policy for outdoor plants varies depending on the type of plant. While annuals, perennials, sod, and hobby plants are not warrantied, we do offer full refunds for perennials, trees, and shrubs returned within 14 days. If returned within 15-28 days, a store credit will be issued.

Peace of Mind with Warranty

We want you to have complete peace of mind when it comes to hardy trees and shrubs. All Zone 2 and 3 plant material is guaranteed to live for one year or, with the purchase of Myke, for five years from the date of purchase (some exceptions may apply). In the unfortunate event that a plant covered by our warranty doesn’t survive, we’ll replace it once, free of charge. Please make sure to accompany your warranty return with the dead plant and receipt. It’s important to note that our warranty does not cover damage caused by flooding, hail, neglect, animal damage, or natural disasters. Additionally, there is no overwinter guarantee on perennials.

Gift Returns and Fashion Finesse

If you’ve received an item as a gift and need to return it, we’ve made the process seamless. Simply follow the same return procedures outlined above and ensure that you include the packing slip included with your gift. Depending on the circumstances, you’ll either receive a Shelmerdine Gift Card for the value of the returned item, less the original shipping charges, or the gift giver will be refunded for the returned goods, less the original shipping charges.
