Key Takeaways
A Convenient and Eco-conscious Solution
Spokane County residents now have access to three convenient drop-off locations for their waste. The Waste to Energy Facility, conveniently situated at 2900 S. Geiger Blvd, functions as a one-stop destination to recycle, dispose of household hazardous waste, yard debris, and trash efficiently. Our facility operates seven days a week, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., ensuring accessibility for all.
Waste Disposal Made Easy
At the Waste to Energy Facility, operated by the City of Spokane, residents can drop off various materials for free. We accept clean and dry recyclable items such as glass bottles, aluminum cans, paper, and certain plastic containers. Our aim is to minimize waste and promote the responsible handling of recyclable materials.
Keeping Spokane Clean
In addition to our facility, Spokane County operates two transfer stations: the North County Recycling & Transfer Station, located at 22123 N. Elk-Chattaroy Road, and the Valley Recycling & Transfer Station, conveniently situated across from the Spokane Industrial Park on 3941 N. Sullivan Road. These stations offer additional disposal options for Spokane County residents.
